Playing and device storage

You can play without a Google account. The game stores a randomly generated guest key, your local best score, local play statistics, privacy choice and, if you sign in, session information on your device. These support identity, preferences and gameplay. Clearing browser data removes device records; it does not itself delete records already stored on the server. Offline runs stay local and are not later submitted to the ranking.

Ranked runs and optional sign-in

The server records a guest or signed-in profile, game seed, rules version, input events and timing, and the validated result to provide rankings, daily challenges and replay comparisons. Optional Google sign-in provides your Google identifier, name, email, verification status and avatar. We use this information to identify your account and maintain our own sessions. Resona does not receive your Google password.

Public creations

When you publish a constellation, its name, author name, validated score, generated preview, points, votes and creative connections are visible publicly. Public links can be viewed and shared by other people. Google email and session credentials are not part of public gallery entries. PNG and video downloads are generated on your device and are not uploaded as videos to Resona.

Measurement and your choice

When Google Analytics is configured, its tag loads using advanced Consent Mode. Until you choose, or after Reject, analytics storage and advertising-related signals are denied. Google may receive consent status and measurements without cookies in this mode; Reject does not mean no network transmission. Accept grants analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user-data and personalization signals. Resona has not enabled an advertising SDK or in-game ads.

Use the Privacy button in the game to accept, reject or change your choice at any time. Playing does not require acceptance. The choice is saved on this device. Changing it affects future measurement; it does not automatically remove information already received by Google. Contact us about deletion requests concerning previously collected data.

Service providers and security

Resona uses PostgreSQL hosted by Aiven for application records, Cloudflare R2 for public preview images, Google for optional sign-in and analytics, and hosting services for the frontend and API. These services may process information in countries other than yours. Network and diagnostic information may be processed to deliver and protect the service. We limit analytics parameters and diagnostic reports and do not intentionally send account email or session tokens in gameplay analytics.

Retention and deletion

Account and published creation records are retained while needed to offer those features, until you delete your account or request removal. Our maintenance policy targets expired or revoked sessions after 30 days, rejected or abandoned runs after 30 days, unused guest profiles without related records after 30 days, and input events from completed ranked runs after 90 days when they are not needed for a published creation or challenge replay. Daily and shared challenge records and public-creation replays are kept while those features rely on them. Maintenance must run to apply these periods.

Sign in and choose Delete my account to remove your Resona profile, identities, sessions, runs, rankings, votes and published constellations. This cannot be undone. Preview-image removal may require retry after a storage failure. Connections from other players' creations to removed material are detached; their creations remain. Account deletion does not delete your Google account.

For guest records, device access problems, access, correction, portability, consent withdrawal, deletion or moderation requests, email us. We may need enough information to verify that the records belong to you; do not send passwords or tokens. Backup copies, service-provider records and copies saved by other people are subject to separate retention or control. Contact us for their applicable periods and limitations; we do not promise immediate removal from third-party copies.
